### Labs, Protocol, Interface

Distinctions between the different areas of "Solera."

**Solera Labs**: The company developing the Solera Protocol and supporting applications.

**Solera Protocol**: A set of permissioness smart contracts enable collateralized lending, borrowing and leveraged strategies on crypto and real world assets to generate yield. Solera's main lending market has been forked from Aave and isolated markets have been deployed [In collaboration with Morpho](https://x.com/MorphoLabs/status/1902408260612710703). Core concepts from Morpho apply to Solera's lending vaults.

**The Solera Interface**: A typescript web interface that allows for easy interaction with the Solera protocol, currently hosted at <https://app.solera.market>. The interface is only one of many ways that users may interact with the Solera protocol.

**Solera Governance**: While the Solera Protocol has not formally launched governance, stakeholder participation is paramount and efforts are underway to enable a gradual transition towards increasingly community-led governance.
